Community service is at the heart of everything we do here at Duncan Firm. The lawyers and staff are involved in giving back to the community in various ways, both personally and professionally. We reach out to those around us through different organizations and church ministries. Duncan Firm enjoys the opportunities to giving back and volunteering to help people in our community.
Honoring those in the community that give themselves for the good of others is something Duncan Firm believes is very important. Duncan Firm continues to co-sponsor with KARK the Community Service Award. This once a year a ceremony is held where stories of community service are told and these community servants are honored.
The Community Service Awards are held annually at the UCA campus in Conway, Ar. with a reception at Brewer Hegeman Conference Center and the awards show in Reynolds Performance Hall. Since 1978, KARK-TV, the Arkansas Department of Human Services Division of Volunteerism, and the Office of the Governor have recognized individuals and companies that serve others in extraordinary ways. These special Arkansans are honored for their volunteer work with the Community Service Awards, which includes an annual ceremony televised by KARK-TV and presented by Duncan Law Firm.
The broadcast highlights each winner’s contributions to the community. Nominees are submitted by the general public, and winners are chosen by a panel which includes members of the DHS Division of Volunteerism Office.
To be involved in recognizing Arkansans, both young and old, that do so much to help others within their communities is both humbling and inspiring. Duncan Firm is hopeful the stories shared inspire more stories of helping people.

KARK 4 will air a special hour-long 9/11 anniversary program on Friday, September 9th at 7PM.
"9/11 Where Were You?" features a look back at that fateful day with interviews from Arkansans about the series of attacks 10 years ago. It will be hosted by news anchors Bob Clausen and Melissa Simas presented commercial by the Duncan Firm.
